Kaye Englin

President & CEO, Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa


Kaye has served as the President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa for nearly 11 years. She and her team have driven significant financial and grantmaking growth and spearheaded CFNEIA’s community initiatives focusing on racial equity, childcare, workforce development, nonprofit capacity building, and the arts. CFNEIA, based in Black Hawk County, has granted over $125 million to nonprofit partners over the past 67 years. Kaye and her team are champions for the nonprofit sector and charitable giving, working tirelessly to strengthen the network and create equitable opportunities for community members across its 20-county region. As a community leader and collaborator, she enjoys partnering with others to reach their mission “To inspire people and connect resources to enrich our communities.” Kaye is also a leader in many Cedar Valley initiatives, serving as co-founder of Advancing Equity in the Cedar Valley Cohort, ONE Cedar Valley board, Iowa Council of Foundations board, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Black Hawk County Childcare Coalition, and the CVNA steering committee. Kaye and her husband, John, are native Iowans and have lived in the Cedar Valley for over 42 years. They have two grown children, Megan and Jake, and two precious grandchildren.
