Nilvia Reyes Rodriguez is the Director of Community Impact and Engagement at Cedar Valley United Way.  She received her undergraduate degree in Public Administration with a minor in History from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition to her previous role as a Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Outreach Specialist at IowaWORKS, Nilvia co-founded and served as Board Vice President of DREAM Iowa, a statewide non-profit organization working to empower immigrant and refugee Iowans. As a first-generation immigrant that grew up in a low-income household, Nilvia is acutely aware of how important the work of our community partners is. She is a fierce champion of community programs centered around health, financial stability, education, and emergency & basic needs, knowing it is programs like these that give families the tools and resources to achieve positive outcomes in life.
