GrantWriting Power Hour

Founded in July 2011 in collaboration with CVNA & AFP of Northeast Iowa, this Network, initially the Grant Proposal Writing Learning Network within Cedar Valley Nonprofit Association, transformed in 2018 to GrantWriting Power Hour with a more structured agenda. Led by Sunni Kegebein of UNI and Carrie Peiffer of Hawkeye Community College, it aims for professional development, information sharing, and collaboration. Goals include building a vibrant network of grant proposal professionals enhancing community resources. Success is measured by strong member relationships, improved practices, and creating funding opportunities through partnerships. Open to all, addressing a recognized need for professional development.

If you're a CEO/ Executive Director of a service providing organization (not grantmaking organization), we'd love for you to join our CEO Network! The purpose of this network is to build stronger relationships, explore new partnerships, share expertise and solve community issues. There will not be a formal agenda or presentation. You, as CEOs, will build the agenda the day of the meeting to address pertinent and timely topics.
