About our Presenter: Lauren Mork is an HR Consultant for the HRConnect division of PDCM Insurance, and she also performs HR for PDCM. On the HRConnect side, Lauren is responsible for providing consultative HR advice and resources to assist clients’ compliance efforts and improve workplace performance. She has extensive experience with policy design and specializes in creating compliant and customized employee handbooks for HRConnect clients. On the HR side, she is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and employee recognition efforts for the agency, and she coordinates with the corporate office on other HR matters.
Lauren has been with PDCM since 2016. She is a national and local member for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and she currently serves as Past President of the Cedar Valley SHRM Board. She is also part of the Economic Inclusion Conference Planning Committee.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and holds her SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certifications.
Lauren and her husband, Taylor, reside in Waterloo.
