    2021.01.19

Grant Writing Power Hour is partnering with the Central Iowa Grant Professionals Association to bring you a two-part training opportunity in January: Making Friends with Funders: What Grantmakers Want Every Grantseeker to Know – Before Submitting a Proposal!

    • PART 1Use this link to enroll for free in the GrantsMagic U video course, which contains a series of short videos (100 minutes if you watch them all). Please watch at least one or two before January 19 and submit questions to jellis@compact.org for the Q&A format of the real-time Zoom meeting.
    • PART 2: Via Zoom on January 19, Maryn will put on her Grantmaker’s Hat to tackle the questions that came up for us during the video course – and host a robust discussion about our own right-now challenges and concerns in navigating the Grants World successfully. Use this link to register for the Zoom meeting (Note: The session will open at 8:00 to allow for connection issues but the meeting actually begins at 8:30).

ABOUT MARYN BOESS: Over her 35+-year nonprofit career, Maryn Boess has been an on-staff grantwriter; a grants consultant (winning $42 million for her clients over 10 years); a grants trainer; a grants reviewer, author, speaker, mentor and coach; and – starting in 2006 – even a grantmaker. Maryn is founder of GrantsMagic U, a training website for grant writers. In 2020, Maryn became just the second inductee into the Grant Professionals Class of Distinguished Fellows.

Please RSVP Here.  Be sure to also register Here for the Zoom Link.
